About

Dalit Shiksha Evam Vikas Sanstha(DSEVS) a registered charitable society was founded in the 1990 by Fr. Thomas Chakalakal primarily to improve the quality of life for the poor to live with dignity. He began the mission with mass education program in 1979. He took up the bonded laborers issue and fought legally and freed about one thousand bounded laborers and rehabilitated them through income generation program such as handloom etc. The mission of education among the oppressed has been continuing for the past four decades. FSMA Sisters have been our collaborators in this mission.
