Prabhat Sakri, under the leadership of Fr. Jose Vadaserry S.J,the director of Prabhat reached out to 260 Musahar families of Pandaul, Kewati and Rahika blocks of Madhubani district. Initial stage, Prabhat team identified the most deserving families of Musahar communities. Prepared a list of beneficiaries followed by short meeting to plan out the mode of reaching out ration and other essential food items to them. We gave priorities to widows who have no one to support their families. Next was disabled people and children who lost their parents. These people were identified from 40 villages where Prabhat has been engaged with different interventions for years.To make the operation easy and smooth we identified 6 distributing points and shopkeepers covering of all 40 villages. The Shopkeepers packed the food materials according to the list and handed over to the beneficiaries through the help of Prabhat staff. People came too their designated place to collect their materials.While delivering the rations to needy people social distancing and hygiene were maintained. We got financial help from St. Michael School, Patna and MLA of Madhubani. We are looking for the possibilities to extend our hands to unreached ones.Items given to the people are:- Rice-5 kg, Dal-2 kg, Aata-5 kg, Potato-2 kg, Salt-1 kg, Oil-1 litre, Soyabin- 250 gms, Masala- 4 packets, Soap- 2 piece, Biscuits- 2 packets, Match box- 1 packets.
