Fr. Jose Vasassery, SJ, has been leading the province of Patna for six years. The province would cherish his vision, far sightedness, commitment and above all his option for the poor and downtrodden. On 20th May 2018, in a meaningful ceremony, Fr. Jose handed over the office to Fr. Donald Miranda, SJ, the new provincial. Fr. Jose thanked the province for the love and support and in turn the newly appointed Fr. Provincial thanked Fr. Jose for his innumerable contributions to the province and the people of Bihar and UP, where Patna Jesuits are engaged in mission.
Many Jesuits from every zone of the province was present for the ceremony. After the Eucharist, there was a fellowship meal for all those present.
