Fr. Vernon D’ Cunha, S.J., General Assistant ‘Ad Providentiam’ and Regional Assistant of South Asia visited Patna Jesuit province from 15 to 21 October 2017. It was a time of grace for all the members of the province as he met with most Superiors, Team leaders and Directors of Work. He addressed the Jesuits in different zones. While appreciating Patna Jesuit’s option for the poor and marginalized communities, he invited the Jesuits to live up to the call of the General Congregation 36, emphasizing on Discernment, Collaboration and Networking. Fr. Selvin,SJ, the Socius accompanied Fr. Vernon to most places.
Fr. Vernon wrote in a mail to Fr. Provincial, “ Patna is a province where much is happening, especially for the poor and margninalized. God bless you, the Jesuits and the works of the Patna province abundantly.”
