India announced lockdown of phase 1- 21 days and phase 2 - 19 days in order to stop the spread of Covid-19 virus. Meanwhile it has brought hunger among the poor and marginalized people of the nation. The migrant workers and people without ration cards and elderly are badly affected.
It is pathetic to see the daily laborers, construction workers, destitute, children and the poorest of the poor of Bihar struggling for food. Seeing the situation of the poor around us suffering we planned to help a few villages with our minimum resources. We visited three poor Musahar villages and took a survey and found out that at least 1000 people are living in extreme untidy conditions in those villages. We distributed food to 400 people at the Bishundatpur village, 300 people at Mohammadpur village, 275 people at Dumari Pakri village and ration packets distributed to 250 families under Muzaffarpur district in Bihar India.
Our main aim was to remove hunger and save life. We are happy to participate in the country’s fight against Covid-19 pandemic. We serve the poor people of the area. We would like to continue to serve them more and more.
