St. Xavier’s School, Gaunaha (formerly known as Bal Siksha Sadan) emerged as a response to the need of the hour. With its fifteen years of social work involvements in the entire Tharuhat belt of Gaunaha, the organisation felt that there is a greater need to provide the focus-communities with quality education. Also there was a felt need to take the children belonging to Tharu, Oraon and Musahars children up to secondarylevel of education.
