About Organization:
In the year 2005, on 10th of April, blessing and inauguration of the house of Patna Jesuit society at Bhagwanpur took place. At the inauguration the house was named as Jesuit residence. Fr. Andrew James, S. J. functioned as the Director of the place till the end of 2009. New name was given to the Jesuit Residence as ASHA DEEP on 31st July 2010 under the leadership of Fr. Jesuraj, SJ as the director and Lt. Br. Joseph Ullatil as Assistant Director. Fr. Dominic Francis Xavier S.J has been appointed as director of Asha Deep on 8th September 2018. Fr. Joseph Srampickal S.J appointed as treasures of the house. Fr. Deepak Lakra S.J. has been appointed as English teacher on 24th may 2019. At present there are three Jesuits involved in the mission of empowering rural youth for employment.
Vision
Asha Deep envisions enhancement of skills in the unorganized rural youth, especially the youth from the economically downtrodden families with preferential focus on Dalit, Tribal and Minority communities, to increase their economic capacity, make them self-dependent and create leadership for socio-economic empowerment of their community through subsidized skill enhancement and various related empowerment programs.
Mission
Empowerment of Rural Unorganized Youth through job oriented skill enhancement for positive self and societal change.
Objectives
Asha Deep aims at conducting skill enhancement programs to unorganized youth in market driven trades. The objectives include:
- To empower the youth for self-reliance.
- To increase the employability of the youth through this training.
- To increase the earning capacity of the youth.
- To help the families of the youth going through the training economically.
- Eventually to bring about a societal change.

SUCCESS STORY
Rina Kumari Daughter of Lalan Singh Belongs to Rohtas district, Bihar. His father is a labour and she has four sisters and one brother. There financial status is very weak due to this reason she stopped her studies after 12th standard. She was very upset because of poor financial status. Her parents were planning to get her marriage which she did not like. She came to know about the skill training at Ashadeep through her village friend. She immediately visited the center and registered her name. Her dream was to become a nurse so she opted to learn nursing aid. During her training period she was very a hardworking, honest, loyal, and intelligence trainees. After coming in center she learned skills, like spoken English, computer, beauty parlor, art and craft etc. She disciplined herself through hostel facilities, like managing time, leadership quality. She liked the environment of Asha Deep Community College where all the facilities are available like comfortable classroom, labs, hostel, dining hall and play grounds. After completing of her skill training, Asha Deep provided jobs at Aarvy Hospital, Gurgaon Delhiand Haryana as a Patient Care Attendant. This hospital is one of the Multi specialist Hospital and her department is Emergency department and earning Rs. 15,200 per month with that salary she is planning to go for further study like GNM and she is also helping the parents.
